It is our mission to support our friends experiencing homelessness in securing (and maintain-ing) housing once they get it. Our Resource Center helps to meet their immediate needs while they await housing placement. The word has spread that the hungry can drop by the Resource Center at lunch time and pick up a sack lunch. Along with lunch, those on the streets can also access our resource pantry. The pantry gives out some basic supplies—all of these supplies are donated by concerned people and churches from the Council Bluffs community.

Grocery items— include fresh produce, canned & dry goods such as pastas and rice, snacks, and bread. During the summer, gardeners often drop off fresh vegetables. We wish to thank Panera Bread for being a long-time contributor to our pantry. Bread is available starting on Thursday mornings.

Personal Care items—drop off personal care items at 717 W. Broadway— (save those motel size shampoos/ conditioners), and hats, gloves, scarves, socks, and blankets are crucial to our friends living on the street.
