healing the wounded heart

A Healing Course by Jean Stephens 

If you listen – to the news, you will hear about people who are traumatized by violence, disasters, abuse, war, injury, trafficking or other difficulties.  Suffering and trauma are things that every community must deal with. 

Hope-Net ministers to women who have trauma in their pasts by leading small groups of 10 or less through very specific training to overcome and talk through their past. 

You might be surprised how many typical church members have had traumatic events in their past—some rising even to PTSD.  We can help your church to bring hope to survivors of trauma and help them engage with Scripture in ways that bring healing and restoration.  

Topics include: 

• If God loves us, why do we suffer? 
• How can the wounds of our heart heal? 
• What happens when someone is grieving? 
• Taking your pain to the cross. 
• How can we forgive others?
