Apartment Starter Kit— We take this with us to ‘Move-In’ day for one of our friends who’s found housing. This kit includes the essential things you need to set up house-keeping when you first move into an apartment. The cost of supplies to move in a new place can really add up for a new renter, and might take many months to finally buy without help. We want the newly housed to be set up for success from day one!

Furniture— Our furniture section helps these new renters select a few chairs and table, bed or air mattress, coffee makers, toasters, a small microwave, and whatever other items our generous donors have provided.

Warehouse— We hope to soon be able to expand and have a warehouse to store more donated used furniture. We’ve been limited to small pieces due to space limits, but with a warehouse will be able to accept bed frames and other larger pieces. If an overflow of furniture comes in, we will sell some at very reasonable prices to help low income people in the area furnish their homes. These sales will help bring in funds as well.
